Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the FORTA website and your purchase of products from FORTA. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Returns & Refunds Policy, and any terms presented during Shopify checkout.
This page is intended as standard storefront terms for launch. FORTA may update these terms as the business, products, checkout settings, or legal requirements change.
Shopify-powered checkout
FORTA uses Shopify to power products, carts, customer accounts, checkout, payments, taxes, shipping options, order confirmations, and related commerce services. Payment information is submitted through Shopify checkout and its payment processors. FORTA does not store full credit card numbers on this custom storefront.
Products, pricing, and availability
We do our best to keep product descriptions, images, pricing, availability, and other storefront information accurate. Errors may occur. FORTA may correct errors, update information, change pricing, limit quantities, discontinue products, or cancel orders when needed, including when an item is unavailable or listed incorrectly.
Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. An order is accepted when it is confirmed through Shopify and prepared for fulfillment. FORTA may refuse or cancel an order for reasons such as suspected fraud, payment issues, incorrect pricing, unavailable inventory, shipping restrictions, or other operational concerns.
Shipping
Shipping options, costs, and delivery estimates are shown at checkout when available. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. If no shipment timing is promised, orders are handled consistent with applicable online-order rules and store operations. Tracking or shipping updates may be sent through Shopify or connected shipping providers.
Returns and refunds
Returns are handled under the FORTA Returns & Refunds Policy. FORTA currently accepts return requests within 30 days of delivery for unopened items or defective items. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Shopify checkout/payment processing.
Battery safety
You are responsible for using, storing, and disposing of batteries safely and according to product packaging, device instructions, and applicable local requirements. Keep batteries away from children and pets. Button and coin batteries can cause serious injury if swallowed or placed in the nose or ear.
Customer accounts
Customer account features are provided through Shopify Customer Accounts. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for making sure your order, shipping, and contact information is accurate.
Website use
You may not misuse this website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy content at scale, submit fraudulent orders, reverse engineer checkout or account functionality, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law or harms FORTA, Shopify, customers, or third parties.
Intellectual property
The FORTA name, logo, product images, copy, design, and other website materials are owned by or licensed to FORTA and may not be copied, modified, distributed, or used commercially without permission, except as allowed by law.
Warranty disclaimer
Except as expressly stated by FORTA or required by law, the website and products are provided without additional warranties. Product performance can depend on device condition, storage, installation, usage, environment, and other factors outside FORTA’s control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, FORTA is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or products. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Third-party services
The website may rely on Shopify, payment processors, shipping providers, analytics tools, email services, and other third-party services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. FORTA is not responsible for third-party websites or services that it does not control.
Changes to these terms
FORTA may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
